One of the best things about the CuddleCrib V2 is that almost all of it can be properly cleaned, not just wiped at.
Fabric cover, quilt and mattress cover
The full fabric cover unzips completely and goes into the washing machine.
- Cold wash, gentle or eco cycle
- Mild, non-biological detergent
- Line dry in the shade
- Do not tumble dry — this may shrink the linen-cotton blend
4D Air Fibre mattress core
This is the part that surprises people: the mattress core is 100% washable.
- Shake off any debris
- Rinse under a cool running tap or in the shower
- Lay flat to air dry completely
- Keep away from direct high heat
Nappy leaks and spit-ups rinse straight through the open air-fibre core, and it dries quickly.
Y-strap anchoring assembly
- Wipe the strap and anchor plates with a damp cloth and mild soap
- Air dry completely before reinstalling
Side mesh (not removable)
- Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild baby-safe soap
- A fabric garment steamer can be used to refresh and sanitise the surface
- Air dry fully in a well-ventilated area before use, to prevent moisture buildup
A tip
If you've bought a package with two fitted sheets and two mattress protectors, keeping one set on and one in the wash makes the 3am changes much easier.
