Can I tilt or incline the CuddleCrib for reflux?

No — the CuddleCrib V2 cannot be inclined, and that's deliberate.

The sleep surface stays flat at every one of the four height settings. Our testing confirms it cannot exceed 4.5° even at maximum mismatch, well inside Australia's 7° limit.

Why flat matters

Australian safe-sleep guidance is that babies should sleep flat on their back, every sleep — including babies with reflux. Inclined sleepers have been banned in a number of countries following safety concerns.

What to do about reflux instead

  • Don't feed your baby while they're lying in the bassinet
  • Feed them in your arms, and hold them upright afterwards
  • Then place them down flat on their back

If your baby's reflux is severe or you're worried, speak to your GP or maternal and child health nurse. They can advise on what's appropriate for your baby specifically.

What about side sleeping?

Back to sleep, every sleep. The lowering side panel on the CuddleCrib is there so you can bring the bassinet flush against your bed — it's never for changing how your baby lies.

And soft bedding?

Bare is best. A firm, flat, tested mattress and a snug fitted sheet. No pillows, no bumpers, no loose blankets.
