How to Use the CuddleCrib V2 Safely as a Bedside Co-Sleeper
In bedside mode, your baby sleeps on their own separate flat surface, right next to you. Follow these steps every time you set it up.
For assembling the bassinet, follow the instruction manual included in the box.
Before each use
Check the bassinet before every use. Don't use it if any part is loose, missing or damaged. Throw away all plastic packaging straight away and keep it away from children.
Setting up beside your bed
1. Match the height to your bed
Choose whichever of the four height levels is closest to the top of your mattress. The mattress surface sits approximately 45, 48, 50 or 52 cm from the floor. The sleep surface stays flat at every level.
2. Lower the side panel
Lower the side panel on the side facing your bed.
3. Pull the bassinet flush against your bed
There should be no gap between the bassinet and your bed.
4. Attach the Y-strap
Click the buckle end into the base of the bassinet. Place the anchor plate flat against the far side of your mattress. Tighten the strap so the bassinet stays flush against the bed.
5. Lock the wheels
Make sure all four wheels are down and locked.
6. Check before every sleep
Check the Y-strap is attached and the bassinet is still flush against your bed before you put your baby down each time.
Safe sleep checklist
- ✅ Place your baby on their back on the firm, flat mattress
- ✅ Keep the sleep space clear of pillows, toys, bumpers and extra padding
- ✅ Keep the bassinet away from windows, cords, straps and electrical wires
- ✅ Keep it away from heaters, open flames and other heat sources
- ✅ Never move the bassinet while your baby is lying in it
About the hanging sensory toy
Toys shouldn't be in your baby's sleep space. Use the hanging toy during supervised awake time, and remove it before your baby sleeps.
When to stop using the bassinet
Stop using the CuddleCrib V2 as soon as your baby can roll over or push up on their hands and knees, or at around 6 months, whichever comes first.
