The CuddleCrib V2 is designed to sit flush against your bed so your baby sleeps within arm's reach, on their own separate flat surface.
Height adjustment
Four levels, with the mattress surface sitting approximately 45, 48, 50 or 52cm from the floor.
How to measure
Measure from the floor to the top of your adult mattress. Match that to the nearest of the four levels above.
If your measurement falls between 45cm and 52cm, the CuddleCrib will line up with your bed.
What if my bed is higher than 52cm?
The bassinet can still be used in rocking or mobile mode beside your bed, but it won't sit flush for true bedside co-sleeping. If your bed is significantly higher, get in touch before ordering and we'll talk it through.
The Y-strap anchoring system
In bedside mode, the included Y-strap keeps the bassinet locked firmly against your bed:
- The dual-prong buckle ends click into the base of the bassinet
- The opposite anchor plates sit flat against the far side of your mattress
- Pulling the straps tight locks the bassinet flush, preventing it shifting or leaving a gap
It works with standard ensembles, slatted frames and box springs.
Important: in bedside mode, always install the Y-strap and position the bassinet completely flush with no gap. Check the attachment before every sleep.
